How to Use the "Matsu Spots"

"Matsu Spots" mark are posted at the counters handling procedures related to daily life, including Shimin-ka (Registers Section), Hoken Nenkin-ka (Health Insurance and Pension Section) and Kosodate Shien-ka (Parenting Section).

When you arrive at the counter you headed for, take a number ticket at the ticket machine at the "Matsu Spot." Go to the AI Counter Guide if you do not know which counter to head for.

If you have to go through procedures at several counters, go through the procedure at the first counter, and then choose the necessary procedures, depending on the ages and the situation of you and your family, and reservation will be made at one time and the counter guide will be issued.

Follow the guidance of the counter guide and scan the QR code printed on the counter guide over the ticket machine at the "Matsu Spot" at the reserved counter.
You will be given priority in calling the number.

The counter guide will guide you to the less crowded counter.
You can check the waiting time with your smartphone.
The waiting time will be shorter than before.

Counters Saving the Trouble of Writing

For 117 types of application at 11 sections, show your ID at the counter, and the application forms will be given with your name and address printed.

Issuance Service of Certificates at Convenience Stores

Instead of going to the City Hall, you can have certified copies of resident register and other documents issued at a convenience store nationwide with your Individual Number Card ("My Number Card").

The handling fee is 100 yen per certificate until the end of March 2024, which is cheaper than at the counter of the City Hall.
