1. If your income is less than the upper limit of child allowance, apply again
There is an income restriction to receive Jido Teate (Child Allowance)/ Tokurei Kyufu (Special Allowance for the family placed an income restriction) as the table below.
If your income in 2022 fell below the restriction amount or your income in 2022 changed because of reassessment and fell below the restriction amount, you can receive the allowance by submitting "Nintei Seikyu-sho (certication request form)".
Check your income on the notice of decision (change) of "Shimin-zei/Kenmin-zei (Municipal and Prefectural Tax)"; it will be sent in June.
Deadline of submission is within 15 days from next day when you receive above notice.
Those who falls in (1) condition: Whole amount payment of Jido Teate (Child Allowance)
Those who falls in (2) condition: Whole amount payment of Tokurei Kyufu (Special Allowance for the family placed an income restriction)
Those who falls in (3) condition: No payment

* Above income is a person's income who mainly support his/her family. It is not a household income.
2. Submit Genkyo Todoke (Current Status Report)
Persons who follow one of the following conditions NEED to submit Genkyo Todoke (Current Status) Soka City will send the documents to the person below (a)~(e)
(a)A child and his/her mother or father are not registered as citizens of Soka City because of spouse's DV.
(b)Eligible child has not his/her family register nor a resident's card
(c)Mother/father who live seperater from her/his spouse in the midst of divorce
(d)A person or facility who receive the allowance as a corpotative gurdian of minor or a foster parent.
(e)A perso whom Soka City asks to submit
Mail back necessary documents in the enclosed envelope by June 30 (Friday).
* If you failed to submit Genkyo Todoke (Current Status Report) of 2021 FY, you are required to report.
Report immediately when there is a change as follows
- When a recipient stops raising an eligible child
- When a recipient, his/her spouse or a child change the address.(including moving out to outside of Soka City or abroad)
- When a recipient, his/her spouse or a child change the name
- When a recipient marry or divorce
- When a recipient change his/her pension program (in case of raising a child under 3 years old)
- When a recipient in the midst of divorce get a divorce
- When a person is designated as a gurdian by a child's parents who live in foreign country
- When a recipient become a public servant
* If your report will delay and be overpaid, you have to repayment.
