Scholarship (interest-free loan) is available for those who have difficulty attending senior high schools, junior colleges, universities, vocational technical schools, etc. due to financial reasons.
Applications will be determined after examination. Scholarship will start from August.
Subjected student must meet all the following conditions.
He/she:
(1)Must have been living in Soka City for more than one year.
(2)Must have a recommendation letter issued by his/her school head master.
(3)Doesn't receive any other scholarship fund.
(4)Need a guarantor (age of 18 and older who is not living together) who lives in Kanto area in principle (Tokyo-to, Saitama-ken, Kanagawa-ken, Chiba-ken, Ibaraki-ken, Gunma-ken and Tochigi-ken) for a year or longer, who has fully paid municipal tax, who has enough income to guarantee debt.

Reimbursement
Equal monthly payment starting after six months from the next month of the end of loan period:
national and public schools; pay twice the loan priod
private schools; pay three times the loan period
Individual consultation (available all times)
Consultations about scholarship and loan for preparation fund of entering school are accepted at any time.
Private consultations for the person who cannot visit during the open hours of City Hall are available. Please contact us.
