Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m.
Details
(1)Support with daily life and procedures
- Support is given in English, Chinese and some other languages to mediate between the foreign citizens and the related parties.
- The Guidebook Soka is distributed in seven languages under 27 items, with information about life in Japan and about various rules.
(2)Support with school life
Preparing for school
Confirming necessary school supplies and explaining about school life.
Pouches will be given.
Enrolling in an elementary or a junior high school
Consulting in the mother language before enrollment and accompanying the interview at school.
Summer schools
Once a week during the summer vacation to help doing homework and studying the Japanese language.
Soka Ippo (a project of the Board of Education)
For elementary or junior high school students within three months after enrollment, support is provided for about four months to study the Japanese language in the beginner's level and to adapt to school life.
