Have the 1st and the 2nd time vaccination by the end of this year.

The supply of vaccine targeting conventional viruses from the national government will be finished at the end of the year. It has turned out that a large difference in fatality rate exists between those vaccinated and those not vaccinated in case of COVID-19 infection. If you wish to have vaccination, make a reservation soon.

The 3rd, the 4th and the 5th time vaccination

  • Vaccine targeting the omicron variants will be used.
  • The vaccination vouchers will be sent sequentially, based on the day of the last vaccination.
  • Those who have the vaccination voucher at hand and who are waiting for one can make a reservation as soon as you receive it.

Vaccination Interval

The vaccination interval has been shortened to three months from the last vaccination. (From October 21, 2022)

  • Be sure to make vaccinations 13 days or more apart.
  • Only the preventive inoculation of influenza may be given on the same day. (No need to separate the vaccination days)

  • Understand both the effect to prevent infection and the risk of side reaction before deciding whether to let your child have vaccination.
  • Be sure to bring Boshi Techo (Mother and Child Book), the Kenko Hokensho (Health Insurance Card) and Kodomo Iryohi Jukyushasho (Certificate of Beneficiary for Child Medical Expense) besides the vaccination voucher on the vaccination day.
  • If you let your child have preventive inoculation, be sure to separate the vaccinations 13 days or more apart (except the influenza preventive inoculation).
