Autumn Nationwide Fire Prevention Campaign

Autumn Nationwide Fire Prevention Campaign starts from November 9 (Wed.) to 15 (Tue.).
35 fires occurred in Soka and Yashio Area as of the end of September, 2022; no one died and
four were wounded in fires.
Don't forget to install, inspect and maintain the residential smoke alarm devices to prevent fires.

Focused targets

• Promoting fire prevention measures (installation or maintenance of residential smoke alarm device)
• Promoting incendiary fire prevention measures
• Enforcement of security measures for the properties (theaters, restaurants, schools, hospitals etc.) under fire prevention completely
• Promoting to prevent occurrence of a fire caused by the products

10 points to protect your lives

• Don't smoke in bed
• Don't use stove/heater near flammable products
• Turn off the gas stove when you leave there
• Clean the dust of the sockets and disconnect the plugs which are not used
• Use the apparatus with the safety device
• Inspect your smoke alarm divices regularly and change them in every 10 years.
• Use flame-retardant bedding, curtain and clothes
• Install fire extinguishers and know how to use to put out a fire before it becomes big
• Always secure rescue course and method
• Build a cooperation system in neighborhood by attending the fire/disaster prevention drills
