What is Individual Number Card ?
A system where you can use your Individual Number Card to preregister for and apply to use Individual Number Card Points. Earn points (* ) when you add money to or make purchases with a cashing payment service account of your choice (electric money, QR code, credit card etc.)
Maximum 20,000-yen worth points are given by the following three condtions.
* Now only (1) is available
| Who is eligible | Points you can get | |

| (1) | A person who has not applied for My Number Points | Maximum 5,000-yen worth points (25% of your money back) |
| (2) | A person who will register (registered) My Number Card as a health insurance certificate | 7,500-yen worth points (Scheduled to start from June, 2022) |
| (3) | A person who will register My Number Card as a bank account to receive public money on his/her "My Number Portal" | 7,500-yen worth points (Scheduled to start from June, 2022) |
How to Use/ STEPS
STEP 1: Get your Individual Number Card (plastic card)
"How to get" in 6 languages is available from: https://www.kojinbango-card.go.jp/
* You have to apply by the end of September, 2022 in order to get Mynumber Card Points.
It may be takes several months to issue My Number Card (Individula Number Card), so apply early.
STEP 2: Preregister for Individual Number Card Points
Select the cashless payment service you wish to use and confirm "QR code payments" and "Security Code".
* There are about 100 kinds of cashless payment services which have own rules (original benefit,
timing, confirmation method of Key Id and Security Code etc. are different depending on every
serice)
Or preregister/Apply by one of the following methods
(1)By your smartphone (with NFC: Near Field Communication) or computer (a separate card
reader is required)
(2)At the spots: My Number Card Point Counters in Soka City Hall (The Second City Hall
Bldg.: Hours: 8.45 a.m. ~ 5.15 p.m. on weekdays 9.00 a.m. ~ 12.30 p.m. on Sundays
Other Supporting terminals: Post offices, convenience stores, cell phone stores, etc. (90,000 places nationwide)
STEP 3: Charge or do shopping

・Individual Number Card (My Number Card)
・4-digit password of digital certificate you set when you applied for or picked up your Individual
Number Card
* Please be aware that if you enter your passwprd incorrectly 3 times in a row, you will need to
reset your password at your municipal Individual Number Card counter.
・QR code payments and Security Code (they vary according to services)
