Zero Carbon City
The Ministry of Environment gives the definition of Zero Carbon City to local governments which announced their commitment to net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
The "net zero carbon emissions" means the achievement of balance between the emission amount of greenhouse effect gas, such as carbon dioxide, from man-made sources and the removal amount absorbed in forests.
