Map of Local Production for Local Consumption

The map of local production for local consumption is a renewed version of the map of garden sale farms containing the information about those farms, with the addition of the information about stores which promote the use of local agricultural products of Soka.

The booklet also offers the information of farms staging harvesting experience. It gives the information for buying, eating and enjoying delicious vegetables of Soka. Find your favorite and visit the farm.

The map is distributed at Toshi Nogyo Shinko-ka (Urban Agriculture Promotion Section), Kominkan (public halls), Bunka Center (culture centers), community centers and some other places. It is also viewable on the website of Soka City

Vegetables and flowers are on sale at the garden or by the field of the producing farmers of Soka City.

Vegetables harvested in the morning are fresh and the prices are reasonable.
Talking with the farmer is one of the enjoyments.

The map introduces eating houses and retail stores which deals with fresh agricultural products.

Registered stores are making efforts to gain more popularity of agricultural products of Soka and to promote and raise awareness of local production for local consumption.
