Htori-oya Setai Rinji /Tokubetsu kyuufu-kin (Temporary/Special Benefit for Single-parent Familie) will beprovided to support single-parent families who have difficulties due to the COVID-19; by increasing child-rearing time and decreasing their incomes.
1.Basic Benefit
People subjected
Person who meets one of the following conditions.
(1)Those receiving a Child Rearing Allowance (Jido Fuyo Teate) in June (pay on July 10th)
(2)Those receiving public pensions and not receiving any child-rearing allowance in June 2020;
but their income in 2018 was below the Limitation of Income for Special Child Rearing Allowance (Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate). * See Page 2
(3)Those whose income is at the same level as those receiving child-rearing alloance (Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate), such as from sudden changes in household fi
nances due to COVID-19.

Additional 30,000 yen per child after the second child
2.Additional Benefit
People subjected
Those who meet above (1) or (2) condition and whose income has decreased due to a sudden change in household income due to COVID-19.

3. How to apply
Basic Benefit
Person who meets above (1) needs no application: the payment will be done on August 31 (Mon.) after a notice letter will be sent.
Person who meets avove (2)or(3) needs to apply
Additional Benefit
Application is required
* Soka City will send notice letters including application forms for Additional Benefit to the eligible households in the middle of August.
* Eligible households can download an application form on the website of Soka City.
