Community Keeping Warmth and Attracting People

Ms. OONEDA Mayumi
Ms. OONEDA Mayumi

I have lived in the shopping area in front of the station since childhood.
The first floor of my house was a shop and the second floor a dwelling place.
The neighbors were all friendly and I grew up in a community.
I hope the warmth will be handed down to the future, shops will increase in number and people of all generations gather in the town.

Handing over to the Next Generation

Mr. KAZAMA Keiji
Mr. KAZAMA Keiji

Our predecessors kept discussing the land readjustment project for years.
Our generation took over the work to improve the community.
I a.m. happy if the young generation, the bearers of the future, will participate in events and share the vision of the predecessors?the community where voices of children can be heard here and there.

Community Where Young People Can Be Active

Ms. OOGUSHI Yoshiko

Keeping in mind the visions of our predecessors, I hope to develop a shopping area to support the activities of young people and fathers/mothers, providing talented young people with opportunities to be active, as well as attracting companies.

Bring Excitement to Shinden

Mr. TAKAHASHI Hiroki
Mr. TAKAHASHI Hiroki

I live in Hara-cho, and I often use Shinden Station.
I had a chance to be involved in planning and staging "Machi Niwa Asobiba (Town-park-playground)."
I hope to connect people in and around the community and to bring excitement to Shinden Station.

Share the Ties of Relationship with Children

Ms. AONO Rina
Ms. AONO Rina

I remember that the relationship of people was close and the ties were strong in the shopping area.
I wanted to share that atmosphere with my four-year-old son and participated with him in "Machi Niwa" as one of the sellers.
I hope to take part in activities to provide places to deepen the relationship of people.

Create Liveliness, while Keeping Warmth

Mr. TAKAHASHI Satoshi
Mr. TAKAHASHI Satoshi

My parents were running a western restaurant, and I grew up in a shopping area.
I feel many of people in Shinden are fond of the town and are willing to create lively atmosphere.
I hope to keep the warm atmosphere and create a place of liveliness and relaxation, although town may look a little different from that in the past.

Town Development in progress with Community Residents

The community is making united efforts to develop the area around Shinden Station, under the land readjustment project.
The landscape is changing greatly, with bus routes extended to the east exit of the station in December 2022.
We will promote town development with people on the shopping streets and in the community, discussing the plan of landscape and the usage of park, with the idea of both "making" and "using," aiming to revitalize and develop the town.

Opinions and ideas are invited from community residents to discuss the facilities and the usage of the park and the open space.

Machi Niwa Asobiba

"Machi Niwa Asobiba (Town-park-playground)"

This event was held on the planned site of park (Machi Niwa) located at the east exit of Shinden Station in May and in December 2022, co-staged by community residents and the project organizers.
Kitchen cars came and refreshment booths were set up, drawing many families.
Various ideas were proposed in the "open house," which was to invite opinions of community people about the use of the planned site of park.
