Payment of Medical Expenses in Saitama Prefecture
To Become Unnecessary at Medical Institutions for Recipients of Medical Expenses for Single-parent Families

Up to Now
Pay the medical expenses. → To be reimbursed after the procedures.
Payment is necessary at medical institutions for the medical treatment of 21,000 yen or over in Soka City and for that in Saitama Prefecture.

From January 1, 2023
Only show the certificate of recipient.
Payment will not be necessary at medical institutions in Soka City and in Saitama Prefecture if the certificate of recipient is shown.
Please use new certificates which will be sent in late of December.

• Payment is necessary at the counter for medical treatment outside the prefecture.
• Please use "Hitorioya Katei Iryou-hi Jyuku-sha Sho (Certificate of recipient of medical expenses for single-parent families)" even if you have "Kodomo Iryou-hi Jyuku-sha Sho(Certificate of recipient of medical expenses of children) .
