Emergency Support Fund to Businesses in Soka City

In Response to the Price Rise of Crude Oil and Raw Materials

The emergency support fund will be granted to small and medium-sized businesses which are facing difficulty in the continuation of business, affected by the price rise of crude oil and raw materials, depending on the degree of impact.

Target Businesses (to meet all the requirements below)

  • Small and medium-sized businesses, including sole proprietors, whose principal place of business is located in Soka City
  • Businesses in which price pass-through is not in progress, and the rise of sales-cost ratio and other factors are affecting the continuation of business
  • Businesses whose city tax has been fully paid. (To be covered by the support fund in case of tax payment grace)
  • Business which are not covered by other subsidy projects of the city of the same purpose

Benefit limit

100,000 yen to one million yen per business operator

* The benefit of less than 100,000 yen are not covered by this support fund.

Target expenses (to fall under either of the requirements below)

(1)Fuel expenses for transport

Requirements
Business operators whose total fuel consumption of the vehicle used in the business exceeds 3,333 L in any three months from January to September 2022

Grant amount
The fuel consumption amount of the three months multiplied by the risen price of 30 yen

(2)Expenses of raw materials, fuels, heat, light and water

Requirements
Business operators whose total expenses of raw materials, fuels, heat light and water in any three months from January to September 2022 has risen 20% or more, compared with the same expenses from January 2019 on when the impact of price rise of crude oil and raw materials is not so remarkable under the corona virus crisis

Grant amount
The amount equal to the rise in prices in three months
