Benefit will be granted to the non-taxable households (except single-parent households)!
This "Kosodate Setai Seiktsu Shien Tokubetsu Kyufu-kin (Specail Benefit for Low-income Families with Children)" is for the non-taxable households of both parents with a child/children who are faced to the prolonged influence of the COVID-19 and soaring food prices to support their chld rearing.
This time single-parent households who have received benefits are not covered.
Eligible people
A person who follows under any of the following (1)~(4)
(1)A person who received April's Jido Teate (Child Allowance) or Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate (Special Child Rearing Allowance) and is exempted of the per capita rate of resident tax (city tax) in the fiscal year 2022.
(2)A person who raised a child/children of age between 16 and 18 at the end of March, 2022 and is exempted of the per capita rate of resident tax (city tax) in the fiscal year 2022.
(3)A person who will newly receive May's Jido Teate (Child Allowance) or Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate (Special Child Rearing Allowance) and is exempted of the per capita rate of resident tax (city tax) in the fiscal year 2022.
(4)A person who raised a child/shildren of age under 18 at the end of March, 2021 and his/her financial condition changed suddenly in January 2022 or later due to the COVID-19, and the total annual income of all the family members amounted to the level to be exempted of the per capita rate of resident tax.
Benefit amount
80,000 yen per eligible child
* 50,000 yen by government measures and additional 30,000 yen from Soka City
How to be paid
For the ubove (1) and the person who raised another child/children eligible to Jido Teate(Child Allowance) of (2): Benefit was transferred to the account designated to receive the Jido Teate (Child Allowance) or Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate (Special Child Rearing Allowance) on July 15 (Wed.)
For the ubove (3): Benefit will be transferred at all such times.
Application Required
A person who is raising only a child/children of age between 16 and 18 at the end of March, 2021 of (3) and (4)
