Fitting and Renting of Yukata (summer Kimono)

Feel Close to a Local Industry of Soka

Why not enjoy a day in summer by walking in Yukata (summer Kimono) and by having pictures taken along a national scenic beauty "a scenic spot of Oku-no Hosomichi, Soka Matsubara"?

Yukata is available in 14 designs for women and 4 for men.
Rental bags and Geta (special shoes for Yukata) are available, in addition to fitting.

Period

July 1 (Thursday) ~ around mid-September
To be closed on Mondays and from August 13 (Friday) ~ 16 (Monday)

Hours

11:00 a.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. (Yukata to be returned by 3:30 p.m.)
Parking lot is NOT available.

Fee

1,500 yen (including fitting fee)

Benefit

Tea will be served with sweets for 200 yen.

Application

Fill in the application form distributed at Soka-shuku Shinmei-an
(Tel./ FAX(048) 948-6882)) and submit it there at least three days in advance.
The application form is to be downloaded from the website of Soka-shuku Shinmei-an and of Soka City.
