Subsidy for the Cost
Eligible people
Those of age under 15 and of age 65 or older, or the family made up of disability certificate holders who paid the city tax in full (In case of rental housing, the consent of house owner is necessary because holes are made on the wall.)
Subsidy amount
Up to 9,000 yen.
* Metal fitting to be mounted by a registered business operator. Up to three pieces of furniture per family.

Motor screw drivers can be lent for mounting metal fittings.

Removal of Dangerous Concrete Block Walls
Partial Subsidy for the Cost
Eligible concrete block walls
Those concrete block walls which abut on a road (or sidewalk) and meet one of the requirements below (excluding partial removal). Pre-application is necessary.
Requirements
- The height of wall is 2.2m or more.
- The thickness of wall is less than 10 cm (Less than 15 cm in case the wall is higher than 2 m.)
- The Counterforts of the height of 1/5 or more are not built within the interval of 3.4 m or less.
- The wall does not have concrete foundation (penetration).
- The wall is out of upright or has cracks.
Subsidy amount
Two-thirds of the cost for the removal of concrete block walls (Up to 400,000 yen, a fraction of less than one thousand yen omitted)
* Reconstruction cost will not be covered.

Evaluation of Seismic Capacity and Repair of Housing
Partial Subsidy for the Cost
Eligible buildings
Those buildings which received building confirmation and started construction work on May 31, 1981 or earlier (Only a small opening for condominium apartments)
Eligible people
Individuals (or the management society of apartments) who own housing in Soka City and has lived in the housing for more than one year
- In case the housing has more than one owners, the consent of other owners are necessary.
- Pre-application is necessary. Application will not be received after contract.
- After the work, a performance report needs to be submitted by March 1, 2022.
- The repair for improving seismic capacity has requirements of paying city tax in full, about contractors, etc.

Simple Diagnosis can be done, based on the drawing.
Prepare the ground plan and the floor plan before application, and contact Kenchiku Anzen-ka (Construction Safety Section). The site investigation will not be conducted.
