Vaccination Vouchers to Be Sent to Senior Citizens of Age 65 or Older in Late March (Scheduled)
The information in this article is subject to change, as the supply schedule of vaccine from the national government has not been finalized yet.
Soka City is preparing for vaccination, in collaboration with related organizations, including the Soka and Yashio Medical Associations.
Those who wish to have vaccination are to make a reservation on the Internet reservation system or by dialing the call center (see below).
The details will be announced on the website of Soka City or in the city newspaper, as soon as finalized.

Soka City is assuming that about 70% (about 150,000 people) out of the citizens of age 16 or older (219,000 people) will wish to have vaccination, and is now preparing for the prioritized vaccination for medical workers and for senior citizens of age 65 or older (including those who will be 65 during the fiscal year 2021).
The city will respond to the case when more than assumed number of people wish to have vaccination.
Two Patters of Vaccination: Individual or Group
- Vaccination will be given twice, with a certain interval.
- Vaccination is free of charge.

Procedure of the Novel Coronavirus Vaccination
Receive a vaccination voucher sent from Soka City
Vaccination vouchers will be sent to senior citizens of age 65 or older in late March.
Vouchers will be sent to other citizens of age 16 or older as soon the schedule is finalized.

- Talk with your family doctor about vaccination in advance if you have pre-existing diseases.

- Vaccination is given only with the consent of the person.
Vaccination is advised, but not enforced. - Side reaction may occur after vaccination.
Side reaction, such as pain at the injection site, fatigue and in rare cases, anaphylactic shock, may occur after vaccination.
