The collected recyclable waste will be sold to recyclers to be used as resources, and the profit will be income of the city to be used for the life of citizens.
Note in Using the Collection Box
- Small household electric appliances of the size 15 cm vertically and 30 cm horizontally or less can be put into the collection box for small household electric appliances. Articles larger than that are to be sorted as non-burnable waste.
- Put batteries and rechargeable batteries into the collection box (yellow) for small household electric appliances. Do NOT put them into the batteries collection box (blue), to avoid causing fire.
- Wash old clothes and put them in a bag before putting them into the collection box.
- If the amount of your old clothes and waste oil is too much to put into the collection box, they will be received at the Kankyo Gyomu Center (Environmental Services Center) on the 2nd Sundays and at the Recycle Center on the 4th Saturdays.
