Tell Us about Chokai or Jichikai (Resident Groups)
Inari Chuo Chokai
Meet, make friends and help one another.
Chokai disaster-control towels" were conceived by Inari Chuo Chokai.
The towel will be hung on the gate of the house as the sign of the family's safety being confirmed in times of disaster, to urge neighbors to confirm the safety of the residents of houses without the towel.
This is one of our ideas to help one another in neighborhood in times of emergency.
We can feel safe and secure in times of emergency.
Mr.Toshiyuki Sekine, President of Chokai
We are distributing unique disaster-control towels.
Asahi-cho Chokai
Feel free to join our activities.
Asahi-cho Chokai has been cleaning the frontage road of the outer ring road for 14 years.
The activity of cleaning once a month for an hour is open to everyone.
Every time about 40 to 50 people, from children to adults, participate.
We are trying to have everyone enjoy the activities.

Some of activities are suspended, due to the effect of the novel coronavirus.
I'm a little interested, but I have no acquaintance and I cannot find much I can do. It is difficult to make up my mind.
The activities are different in each Chokai or Jichikai (Resident Group). Just visit and watch the festival or the cleaning activities to see what people are doing.
It is hard to make a phone call to the president of Chokai to ask about a visit.
You can make an application by e-mail or by postal mail. See the "How to Apply to Join a Resident Group" below.
