Water Bag as Citizen's Flood Prevention Measure

What is "Water Bag"

It is made with garbage bags and water, is used instead of "Sandbag" at the time of concentrated heavy rain or typhoon.
"Water Bag" is useful to prevent the backflow of toilet bowl and "Water bags in cardboards wrapped with waterproof sheet" prevent inflowing of rainwater to houses.

How to make

(1) Prepare 2 household garbage bags (45L)
(2) Put a garbage bag in double, put in about half of the water
(3) Remove the air and bind tightly of inner and outer bags

How to Use

(1) Prevent the backflow from the drain holes of washer, bathroom and toilet bowl.

(2) Prevent inflow of rainwater to houses at the front door or garage

Put the cardboard boxes at the place you want to set, fill with "Water Bag"s and close the boxes.
You can adjust the height with cartons. Cardboards wrapped with waterproof vinyl sheet increase the strength.
