Prevention of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) Infection

Remain calm and take the measures to prevent infection as same as for influenza; cough and sneeze etiquette and washing hands.

* Especilally we ask the elderly or the person with underlying disease, who are expected to be serious consition if they are infected, to avoid visiting the places many people are gathered.

Inquire to the Support Center for the Citizens in Saitama Prefecture from March 1

The support center receives phone calls from people who are suspected to have been iinfected with
the virus and makes arrangement.

* If you have had cold symptoms or a fever of 37.5℃ or over for four days or more, or if you have a
strong feeling of weariness (fatigue) or shotness of breath (difficultly breathing), consult the center below. Also consult if you are a senior citizen, have an underlying disease such as diabetes, heart failure or repiratory disease or receive dialysis, or take immunosuppressant drugs or anticancer drugs, and you have had the symptoms mentioned above for about two days.
