Maternity nurses and other specialists will talk with all expectant mothers to provide necessary service.
- Pregnancy and Childbirth Counseling Room "Pokapoka" will be initiated by Soka City in Hoken Center (Health Center) - a place for counseling where expectant mothers can talk about questions and concerns during pregnancy, childbirth and child care, so that they can live with peace of mind.
- From April, the issuing/reissuing of Boshi Kenko Techo (Mother and Child Book) and promotion tickets for health check-up of pregnant women will be handled at only one place: Pregnancy and Childbirth Counseling Room "Pokapoka."
- Counseling will be given at the time of issuing to provide support, suited to the situation of each case.
What service is available at the Pregnancy and Childbirth Counseling Room "Pokapoka"
- Issuing Boshi Kenko Techo (Mother and Child Book) and promotion tickets for health check-up for pregnant women
- Providing face-to-face or phone counseling with a maternity nurse
- Collecting information about maternal-child health and child care support service
- Measuring the height and weight of babies
