Waiver Request of Tax on Light Motor Vehicles for Sale

To Be Applied from April 1 (Fri) to 11 (Mon)

Light motor vehicles which were acquired on April 2, 2021 or later and are owned as merchandise by secondhand car dealers, having the permission of a secondhand dealer as stipulated in the Antique Dealing Law, are eligible for the exemption of light motor vehicle tax of the fiscal year 2018 on request (on condition that the owner and user on the car registration is identical with the applicant, and that the light motor vehicle tax of the fiscal years 2020 and 2021 were paid without default).

Application

Fill in the application form distributed at Siminzei-ka (Taxation Section)?also downloaded from the website of Soka City?and submit it to the same section with copies of the permission of a secondhand dealer and of the motor vehicle inspection certificate as well as a photo of the car as exhibited as merchandise (with the registered number clearly readable) from April 1 (Fri) to 11 (Mon).
