July 4: Soka Morning Glory Market And Soka Matsubara Dream Festival
These events were held in Matsubara Ayasegawa Park and along Soka Matsubara Walking Trail.
In the Soka Morning Glory Market, 300 pots of morning glories were soon sold out in spite of the rainy weather.
Soka Sawayaka-san, dressed in Yukata (Japanese summer Kimono), helped the sale.
In the Soka Dream Festival, lights on the rows of pine trees were reflected on the wet walking trail, creating a world of fantasy.
The visitors were enjoying a small-sized tent and photographing.

Concluded with Matsuzaka City, Mie Prefecture
An "agreement on mutual support in times of disaster" was concluded online with Matsuzaka City, Mie Prefecture.
With this agreement, the two cities support each other by dispatching city employees and sending relief supplies in case of a large-scale disaster.
