A new benefit will be provided to support households !
This "Kosodate Setai Seiktsu Shien Tokubetsu Kyufu-kin (Specail Benefit for Low-income Families with Children)" is one of the measures against the Coronavirsu disease for the low-income families with both parents who are raising a child/children.
* Single-parent households who have already received this benefit are not eligible/
Eligible people
Group 1:
A person who follows under any of the following (1)~(3) and non-taxable by inhabitant tax on per capita basis for 2021 FY
(1)Persons who received Jido Teate (Child Allowance) or Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate (Special Child Rearing Allowance) in May for April's Child Rearing Allowance.
(2)Persons who are rasing a child born between April 2, 2003 and April 1, 2006.
(3)Persons who will receive for May's Jido Teate (Child Allowance) or Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate (Special Child Rearing Allowance) for the child who was (will be) born between April 1, 2021 and February 28, 2022.
Group 2:
Persons who follow any of the ubove (1)~(3) and taxable by inhabitant tax on per capita basis for 2021 FY, caluculated according to their incomes in 2020, but from January and after in 2021 their income is at the same level as non-taxable household, such as from sudden changes in household finances due to COVID-19.
Benefit amount
50,000 yen per eligible child
How to be paid for the
- Soka City sent a notice on June 28 (Mon.), 2021 to the Group 1 (1) persons.
- Benefit will be transferred to the people who received notices to the account designated to the Jido Teate (Child Allowance) or Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate (Special Child Rearing Allowance) on July 9 (Fri.).
- Benefit will be transferred to the account of the Group 1 (2) persons accordint their conditons.
If you are Group 1 and failed to report your income in 2020, Group 1 (2), or Grooup 2 , apply by February 28 (Mon.), 2022.
