Vol.4: Hashed Beef

It is a dish of good dietary balance.
Ingredients (2 servings)
100 g sliced beef, 1/4 medium-sized tomato, 1/2 medium-sized onion, 2 mushrooms, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon flour, 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup, 1 and 2/3 tablespoon worcester sauce, 1/3 teaspoon consomme, a little pepper, 2/3 teaspoon butter, 60 g broccoli and 150 g cooked rice for each serving
Directions
- Cut the beef into bite size. Peel the tomato, and dice them. Cut the onion half round, and slice the mushrooms. Split the broccoli and boil them.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the beef, the onion and the mushroom, and chow them until they become 80% cooked. Sprinkle the flour and continue chowing.
- Add the tomato, 200 ml water, the tomato ketchup, the worcester sauce and the consomme, and let it boil.
- Turn the heat lower when the soup is thickened. Continue boiling for about 10 minutes. Add the butter and the pepper, and continue boiling over low heat for about 5 minutes.
- Serve rice on a dish and hashed beef, and garnish with broccoli.
