Renewal Procedure of Library Card

Valid term (five years) was added to the Library Card in order to update and accurate user's personal information and to clarify the rental objective targets and manage the card properly from February 1, 2020.
Library Card issued before February 1, 2020 will be expired on January 31, 2021.

Where can you check the valid period?

You can check the valid term of your Library Card at the Chuo Toshokan (Central Library), Komin-kans/Culture Centers (public halls), libraries for local community (at the Takasago Elementary School, Nishi-cho Elementary School and Kawayagi Elementary School) or at the `My Page' on Chuo Library HP.

Period

November 1 ~ January 31, 2021

Renewal procedure

Visit one of the above facilities with your Library Card and ID document (for address confirmation) from three months before the valid term.

* Person who is working or studying (not living) in Soka City has to bring another document.
* Library Cards issued from February 1, 2015 to January 31, 2020 are valid by Janurary 31, 2025.
