The autumn cleaning campaign will be carried out all over the city on October 25 (Sun), organized by the Clean Furusato Promotion Council.
Cleaning hours will vary, depending on town associations, so be sure to check it.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation for cleaning places used by the public, such as streets, parks and areas around public facilities.
- The collected rubbish is to be sorted to burnable rubbish, non-burnable rubbish and recyclable rubbish, then be put into the rubbish bags specially made for the campaign distributed by town associations, and be carried to the designated collection spots for the campaign.
- The following rubbish will not be picked up by the garbage truck - rubbish from households or business establishments, TV sets, bicycles, stones, concrete, etc.
- Stay away from the garbage truck in operation because it is dangerous.
- The town associations planning to clean U-shaped gutters are to contact the Clean Furusato Promotion Council in advance to request sludge collection.
The cleaning campaign is conducted twice a year, in spring and in autumn, with the aim of raising awareness about cleaning the community and about garbage-related problems.
