As Rotavirus is a highly contagious disease nearly every child is infected at least once by the age of five when they are infants.
Children who are infected for the first time easily become severely ill and rarely have an influence on the brain or kidney.
Soka City will start to provide free inoculation against Rotavirus as a routine immunization from October 1.

* There is no difference between both vaccines in its safety and effect. Consult a doctor which vaccine you use.
* Take the first-term inoculation earlier to reduce the risk of side effect.
* Check the side effect (especially about Intussusception) in advance and have your child vaccinated when his/her physical condition is good.
