Entrance Ceremony at All the Elementary and Junior High Schools in Soka City
On June 1, entrance ceremony was held in all the elementary and junior high schools in Soka City, which was postponed due to the infection of the novel coronavirus.
Each school took measures to prevent infection, such as taking temperature, washing hands and wearing a mask, and the ceremony was held in a smallest possible scale.
A new step was made forward by 2,002 1st graders of elementary schools and 2,052 1st graders of junior high schools.

Soka Elementary School welcomed 138 students to be 1st graders.
Students said, "I'm happy to attend the entrance ceremony. I want to make many friends and study hard."
Parents said, "I was looking forward to the entrance ceremony. I think my child is a bit nervous, but I hope he will enjoy school life, making many friends."
