The amounts of Jido Fuyo Teate (Child Support Allowance) and Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate (Special Child Support Allowance) are indexed to the cost of living, and the amount of allowance is altered according to the changes of the annual consumer price index.
In the fiscal year 2020 consumer price index is increased by 0.5% than the previous year.
The amounts of Jido Fuyo Teate (Child Support Allowance) and Tokubetsu Jido Fuyo Teate (Special Child Support Allowance) are shown in the table below.
The first regular payment after the alteration will be made in August 2020.
