Group rabies shot and registration for the fiscal year 2020 will be conducted on the days and venues shown in the table below (No postponement for rain).
A dog, which is 91 or more days old and which has not been registered, must be registered (once in life) and have rabies shot.
Rabies is an infectious disease for human beings and animals, with no medical treatment available today, and once rabies develops, it results in death almost 100%.
The owner is obligated to have the dog vaccinated against rabies ever year.
Fee of rabies shot: 3,500 yen
Fee of registration: 3,000 yen
The owner of a dog which is already registered is to bring the postcard sent by Soka City (Application for the certificate of having rabies shot) to the venue on the rabies shot day.
In case the schedule shown on the table is inconvenient for you, visit a veterinary hospital for rabies shot.
