Mr. Masashi Asai,
Mayor of Soka City

On February 19, the February regular session of the city council was held and Mayor Asai announced the administrative policy.
He expressed his basic ideas for the municipal administration and the specific commitments for the priority measures of the fiscal year 2020, stating "I will make utmost efforts to make Soka Attractive, with a sense of mission to develop a hometown full of hope that we can be proud of and to hand it down to the next generation.
In the uncertainty of the society, in order to sustain and develop the richness of the community, I will draw a clear future vision of the community, continue to be involved in comprehensive and effective measures strategically as well as revise them as necessary, in light of the changes of the times and of the diversity of civil service, while sharing information with citizens.
So as to overcome difficult phases and to develop the municipal administration, we must take proactive actions."
